God

We believe in the existence of the only one, true and living God, who exists in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are distinct in person, but having the same attribute perfection and nature. (Matt 3:16)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary without a sin, died on the cross in our place, was buried, rose again on the third day and ascended to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God until his enemies become his footstool. (Luke 1: 26 - 33)

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, and that He is the chief agent in the regeneration of souls, baptises the believer into the body of Christ and permanently indwells the believer and fills them with the spirit, which gives them the evidence of speaking in tongues for kingdom empowerment. (1 Cor 12: 1-11, Acts 2:4)

The Bible

We believe that the bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and it is the foundation from which all claims of truth are substantiated, and it is infallible in the original writings. (2 Tim 3: 16 - 17)

Salvation

We believe that when a person hears the gospel and puts his or her faith in Jesus Christ by accepting his lordship over his or her life, he or she becomes a born again believer. (2 Cor 5: 7, Rom 10: 9 - 10)

The Church

We believe that the church is God's agent that will usher in the true kingdom of God on earth. Jesus Christ is the head of the church and the Holy Spirit is our guide, and the purpose of the church is to equip the saints through set ministries for the work of the ministry. (Eph 4: 11, Acts 6: 3)

Ordinance

We believe in the observance of the two new Testament ordinances which the Lord himself instituted i.e. Baptism and Lords Supper. Baptism symbolises the death, burial and resurrection of a believer into a newness of life and the Lords Supper is a reminder that stirs up our faith to partake of his divine nature. (1 Cor 11: 17 - 34)

Rapture

We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ for his church, that the dead will rise first, and those living believers will be translated to meet Him in the air. (1 Thess 4: 16 - 18)

Spirit Filled Life

We believe in the spirit filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as expressing the true Christian faith.

Divine Healing

We believe in true healing of the body by Divine power. Divine healing as practiced in the early Church. (Acts 4: 30)
